Eternal Bone Chest

The Eternal Bone Chest is a special container block that functions as a death chest with shared storage per player, similar to an Ender Chest. When a player dies, their items are automatically transferred into their personal Eternal Bone Chest inventory.

✨ Features

  • Death Storage: Upon player death, their inventory items are saved directly to their Eternal Bone Chest storage.
  • Shared Per-Player: Each player has a unique storage inventory across all Eternal Bone Chest blocks.
  • Universal Access: Items placed into one chest are accessible from all Eternal Bone Chests placed in the world (per player).
  • Dimension-Safe: Works across all dimensions (Overworld, Nether, End, custom).

💡 Behavior

  • When a player dies:
  • Items are not dropped on the ground.
  • Instead, they are stored in a per-player virtual inventory linked to the Eternal Bone Chest.
  • When the player opens any Eternal Bone Chest:
  • They access the items that were saved from their last death, along with anything else in that chest.
  • Supports safe item storage between deaths, travel, and interdimensional play.
  • Requires Ghast Tears as payment to the chest, the death mechanics will be normal without a ghast tear in the inventory.
